Project TEAM

Teens Making Environmental and Activity Modifications

Project TEAM (Teens Making Environment and Activity Modifications) empowers youth and young adults with disabilities to:

  • Identify barriers in their physical and social environment,
  • Generate solutions to environmental barriers, and
  • Advocate for changes in the environment.

The Project TEAM youth panel received the  YAY! Award from Massachusetts Advocates for Children for their work developing Project TEAM.

Project Partners

Project TEAM was funded by the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR grant number 90IF0032-01-00). (PI- Kramer).

Project TEAM was created at Boston University and is hosted by University of Florida.
